8th International Conference on Rodent Biology and Management (ICRBM)

The 8th International Conference on Rodent Biology and Management (ICRBM), will be held in Australia in Canberra, the nation’s capital, and will be hosted by colleagues from the CSIRO Rodent Management Team, with support from our international organising committee.

We look forward to welcoming you to Canberra and your participation in all that the scientific program and location offers.

About ICRBM

The first International Conference on Rodent Biology and Management (ICRBM) was hosted by Dr Zhibin Zhang, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing in October 1998. However, the source for our ongoing theme of ecologically-based rodent management arose at a workshop in Tanzania in 1996 led by Dr Grant Singleton and Dr Herwig Leirs. Since this auspicious beginning we have held a highly successful conference about every 3-4 years generally, though not exclusively, in a developing country.
